The Char Dham

The Char Dham in hinduism is the set of four pilgrimage sites in India. They include Puri in the east, Rameshwaram in the south, Dwaraka in the west and Bhadrinath in the north. Travelling in a clockwise direction, starting from Puri, this is believed to be a path to moksha  (salvation).  It is said that Narayan travels to these four places everyday for his day-to-day affairs. It is said that without Hari  (Vishnu) , Hara  (Shiva) doesn't exist and vice-versa.
